lunchador /personal project

There are times that you make an off-handed joke that turns into an unexpected muse for a weekend personal project. Lunchador was one such joke turned muse. I created everything from the branding to promotional items for this fictitious food truck/restaurant.

airport parking launch / arrivio

Arrivo was pitching to Jackson International Airport to become their go-to parking payment app. As a part of the deck, they wanted a series of posters to show how they could introduce travelers to the benefits of using the parking app. I had a lot of fun coming up with an all-type campaign that would introduce the app to its target audience. The campaign never launched, however everyone was very excited with this series of posters.

how we invented the world / discovery

While I worked at Discovery, our team was tasked with creating the key art and posters for their upcoming four-part series; How We Invented the World. My concept and design was ultimately chosen to be used to represent the series. I created different filament designs to align with the different topics covered in the documentary. Here you can see the car and skyscrapers versions.

commemorative posters / discovery communications

To celebrate Discovery’s 30th anniversary, I worked with the team at Discovery to create a series of collectable posters to represent each of their major networks: Shark for Discovery, Animals for Animal Planet, Dress for TLC, Flashlight for Investigation Discovery, Rocket for Science, and Race car drier for Velocity. Each of the illustrations have hidden little elements, or are built out of the negative space of other shapes on the page. These posters were warmed welcomed by staff, and had folks trying to collect them all.

ghostober posters / destination america

The folks over at Destination America wanted a series of posters to promote their main programs that aired during their Ghostober event. The idea was to create a series of vintage, yet modern posters that had some unexpected elements hidden inside.

concert posters / listen local

Listen Local is all about promoting local musicians and artists. They wanted their posters to feel as personable and approachable as the musicians themselves.

typography posters / discovery communications

Discovery wanted to create a series of type-based posters for its employees. What was so fun about this project was that it allowed me to create posters outside of the brand guidelines. The result was another set of posters employees could trade and collect to help create a playful environment in their offices.

burger battle /campus 805

This is a type of poster you dream about getting the chance of working on. The client wanted the poster to have the feeling of an underground burger battle, with a slightly cheeky feel. It was nice to be able to work on the promotional materials after having created the logo. I allowed for a great seamless look between the two. You can see more of this project here: Burger Battle.

2018 addy awards / aaf north alabama

The concept behind the marketing efforts for the 2018 American Advertising Awards for North Alabama was “cleverness.” Using a term designers and advertisers alike are very familiar with, the text reinforces the idea of being quick and clever and encourages folks to submit their work today.
